The living room is beige and "sierra redwood" The master bedroom is 2 shades of green April is holding the ladder for me while I get the high spots in the den. Who was the idiot that wanted to vault this ceiling? Kendall is finishing off the master bath. He and April gave the 2nd Saturday in a row to paint. I would be way behind without their help. Thanks guys.
Speaking of helpers, every job needs a supervisor. The T-man filled that job. see the next post 4 more pics.
We have enlisted April & Bethany to decorate the guest bedrooms and baths. April has taken on the back bedroom and main guest bath. Bethany's mission is the front bedroom with the attached bath. They are both great decorators and we are excited to see what they come up with. Paint colors, bed spreads, windows, knick knacks, so many choices. Have fun girls!!
Here is what the outside looks like at this point. We are painting the kitchen a dark brown. We have seen it in a lot of model homes and really like it. Our cabinets are natural hickory which should look really good together. It is a Sherwin Williams color called "otter". The dining room wall is a pale brown or beige color called "kilim beige". It's a stretch for Penny to go with colors but after seeing the model homes, she's coming around. If anyone has any suggestions for bedroom or bathroom colors, let us know.

I am a Real Estate Appraiser and Penny works with me. Kendall also works with us and has just finished his apprenticeship. Cameron is an appraiser in Mesa and just got his pilots license. We are very proud of our kids and take full credit for how good they turned out. We are in the process of building a house in Show Low. This is the first house we have built in our nearly 29 years of marriage so we will see if we can make it to 30!
